Option 1: Delete it in the app
- Open PleinScout and sign in.
- Go to Profile > Security.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Type DELETE, then tap Permanently Delete Account.

This page explains how to delete your account in PleinScout, the plein air painting app from PleinScout LLC, and what happens to your data when you do.
Option 2: Ask us by email
If you can't open the app, email us from the address on your PleinScout account with the subject "Delete my account." We'll confirm the request with you and delete the account within 30 days.
What we delete
Your login and email, your profile (name, bio, photo, and links), and the content tied to your account, including private and saved spots, painting journal entries and their photos, posts, comments, likes, outings you created, and your app settings.
What we may keep
Public spots you added and photos you added to community spots may stay in the app so other painters can still use them, but your name is removed from them. Copies in our backups are removed as those backups expire, within 30 days. We keep limited records longer only when we need them for safety, abuse prevention, or legal reasons.
